AC Magnetic Field Coil

The AC Magnetic Field Coil is a 10 turn coil of approximately 15 cm diameter, mounted on a base with 4 mm connecting sockets.
Passing AC through the coil sets up an alternating magnetic field, which can then be detected with a search coil. The coil needs a power supply that can deliver a high current at low voltage, and the current must not be allowed to exceed 6 A.
