The Calorimeter Blocks are cylindrical blocks for experiments on specific heat capacity, each with a 13 mm diameter central hole for an immersion heater and an off-set hole for a thermometer. Each block has a mass of approximately 1kg.
Each block is heated by an immersion heater placed in its central hole, while a thermometer in the off-set hole shows the change in temperature. These readings are the basis of experiments on specific heat capacity.
