The Light Source is a 12 V / 15 W long-filament lamp for the optical bench, with the filament aligned along its supporting rod. A fan in the lamp housing keeps the housing cool to the touch.
This lamp is made for optical bench experiments with lenses, prisms and optical gratings. Because the long, narrow filament runs along the supporting rod, the source is easy to position on the bench. A built-in fan keeps the lamp housing cool to the touch.
