Retort Stand Base

The Retort Stand Base is a cast iron tripod base, painted blue or black, supplied complete with a nickel-plated iron rod 12.5 mm in diameter. The rod is threaded at one end and fixed with a washer and hexagonal nut.
This tripod base forms the foot of a laboratory stand. The threaded end of the rod passes through the hole in the cast iron base and is held by a washer and hexagonal nut, leaving the rounded end at the top.
