DDAFRICA-001-0014
The Ticker Tape Timer operates at 12 V AC, providing 50 Hz, and uses 50 mm diameter carbon discs with 9.5 mm wide tape. An adjustable spring loading mechanism helps ensure suitable markings on the tape.
Tape pulled through the timer is marked 50 times each second, leaving a record of the motion that students can measure and analyse. Adjusting the spring loading keeps the marks suitable for reading, and the timer itself is of very robust construction.
