The Ticker Tape Timer Economy operates at 6 V AC and marks dots on ticker tape through a carbon paper disc at an electronically controlled 50 Hz. It is housed in a rugged ABS case.
As tape is pulled through the timer, a dot is printed every fiftieth of a second, so the spacing of the dots shows how the speed of the moving object changes. The unit comes with 40 mm carbon paper discs and 15 mm wide ticker tape.
