The Voltmeter Copper is an electrolysis apparatus with two thick 70 x 50 mm copper plates and a 70 x 45 mm central cathode plate, suspended from a bakelite cover in a plastic jar.
The copper plates hang from the bakelite cover into the plastic jar, with the central plate acting as the cathode between the two thick outer plates. Filled with a suitable electrolyte and connected to a supply, the cell is used for experiments in electrolysis with copper electrodes.
